Visa’s V.me, MasterCard’s PayPass Wallet: An In-Depth Comparison

    Visa’s digital wallet is being called V.me, while MasterCard’s new service is called the PayPass Wallet. There are so many similarities between the two options, TechCrunch says, that the choice of which digital wallet to use might quickly become a difficult one for consumers.

    “With so many similarities between the services and some confusion on branding, the problem will soon become one of too much choice,” writes Sarah Perez. “Should you go with V.me or MasterCard’s PayPass (or a PayPass Wallet rebranded by your bank, perhaps?), Serve or PayPal? Wait, PayPal works at point-of-sale too? Does Google Wallet work on my phone? What’s Isis?”
