Morris On Payments: “Business Model is the Key”

    Morris, part of the judging panel for PYMNTS.com’s inaugural Innovator Awards, offered remarks about the things that set the industry’s most successful companies apart from the rest. He argued that new regulations — namely the Durbin Amendment — have made it difficult to innovate in the space, but that companies like PayPal and Discover show there’s still room for new ideas in the industry.

    The event was billed as “an investor’s view of payments,” according to Amerian Banker. NYPAY is a payments industry networking group based in New York.
