After Quitting E-Commerce Twice, Major Grocer Is Back On Board

Publix Super Markets dropped its online ordering service in 2003, then reinstated it, then dropped it again earlier this year. Now, the Florida-based grocer says it will resume some e-commerce operations, according to Internet Retailer.

    Whereas the grocer used to offer online ordering for curbside pickup, the new web-based service will be limited to the grocer’s deli section, making this more similar to a lunch ordering system than a grocery pickup platform.
