Facebook’s Payments Revenues Have Leveled Off For Three Quarters

The revenues generated by Facebook from its payments operations have been stuck at roughly $190 million for three quarters, TechCrunch notes.

    Payments revenues were at $188 million in the fourth quarter of 2011; fell slightly to $186 million through the first three months of 2012; and came in at $192 million in the company’s most recent quarter.

    Facebook chief financial officer David Ebersman attributes some of the slowdown to growth in mobile usage, where Facebook doesn’t earn revenues, TechCrunch says.
