Brazilian carrier Claro and bank Bradesco have announced a partnership to bring an NFC payments service to Brazil in 2013, reports NFC World.

    “We think the scenario is really propitious right now, since 46.8 million people do not have bank account and 83 percent of payments are in cash for under ($9.50),” said Carlos Zenteno, president of Claro.
