Lloyds Bank Hit By Technical Glitch

Ironically, Lloyds Bank’s Faster Payments system suffered a technical glitch which left their customers unable to send or receive payments via the platform. Speaking on the incident, Lloyds said that it was only the Faster Payments system that was affected and customers could perform the majority of their transactions despite the glitch.

    Lloyds also experienced ATM and online banking technical problems in October 2012 and again just this past New Year’s Eve when many Lloyds customers were unable to withdraw cash or complete debit card transactions thanks to “intermittent” ATM outages.
