Zimbabwe Gets Its Own Online Payments Platform
Zimbabwe’s has seen the launch of its first online payments platform, Zimswitch vPayments. The online payments platform is a joint effort of Dademuntande – the only national electronic funds switch connecting most of the country’s banks through ATMs and POS system- , Zimswitch, and Cabs, Zimabwe’s largest building society. The system will allow the country’s consumers to use their locally-issued debit cards online.
