New Bank Of England Governor To Bring Plastic Bank Notes?

Mark Carney, Bank of England governor-to-be has hinted that plastic bank notes could be on the cards for the UK. In an interview Carney said that the bank is “exploring a variety of option for their next currency” when asked about the possibility of a “polymer pound”, similar to Canada’s new banknotes.
