Telco Telenor, DNB To Launch NFC In Norway
Norway’s mobile operator Telco Telenor and the country’s largest bank, DNB, have announced their plan to launch NFC payments in the country. The service is to be launched in the summer of 2013 after earlier trials in 2009 and 2011. The previous trials used MasterCard’s PayPass technology, but the new service will use Visa’s payWave service, the NFC Times has found out.
