Online commerce giant eBay has shut down its Instant Sale service, which allowed users to submit smartphones and gadgets to the site for cash payments. The site had seen more than 4 million offers since its launch in 2011.
According to TechCrunch, the Instant Sale shutdown seems to be a direct result of eBay’s new product presentation, which began with its recent Pinterest-like redesign.
