Wirecard Bank Signs Deal With UATP

Wirecard Bank has announced a new partnership with UATP. The partnership will allow Wirecard to offer and route payment solutions to all UATP Merchant types, including air, hotel, rail and travel agencies. The two companies’ first client is airberlin – the country’s second-largest airline -, which they have signed for a voucher program to be routed through the UATP Network. UATP is the world’s first charge card; begun in 1936. Airlines provide them to their corporate clients in order to make travel related payments. UATP makes it easier for large companies to settle business travel.
