Brits Suspect Fraud From Their Own Banks
A new study has found that British consumers do not trust banks’ abilities to look after their personal information. The worst offenders are bank’s call centres – with 45% of consumers believing this is where fraud is most likely to initiate. Only one in five is happy to share their personal information with a real person and the majority would prefer to enter a PIN or authenticate via biometric technology. Overall 46% of Brits suspect high levels of security breaches at banks.
