Major Credit Card Fraud Ring Busted In Romania

The Romanian Cybercrime Unit and Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) have arrested 44 members of a global credit card fraud ring, reports The Paypers.

    The organized crime group was involved with manipulating POS terminals in major European shopping centers, as well as engaging in online fraud. During the operation to arrest the fraudsters, deemed “Pandora-Storm,” authorities dismantled two workshops for producing devices and software designed for POS manipulation.
