Adyen Announces Membership At GIE Carte Bancaire

Adyen, a global payment solutions provider, announced its membership with French Bank Card Group GIE Carte Bancaire, to allow consumers to benefit from French card processing and to earn better rates on transaction conversions. Merchants in France who employ Adyen will receive technical, contractual and settlement processes report across the payments chain.

Francois Helard, vice president of Sales Southern Europe at Adyen, told Finextra, “This new card acquiring capability forms an essential part of Adyen’s ongoing strategy to process all card data locally in order to achieve the best possible acceptance rates and benefit for more attractive local market conditions.
