US Bank has begun testing a voice recognition software system that will let users complete banking tasks by issuing verbal commands to their smartphones, reports American Banker.

    US Bank created the new voice app in conjunction with Nuance, which sells mobile voice recognition software known as “Nina.” US Bank is piloting the technology through internal staff testing, and American Banker compares the app to that of Apple’s Siri program.
