MasterCard Brings Online Card Payments To Nigerian SMEs

MasterCard has extended its Internet payment gateway solution to Nigeria, reports Celebrating Progress-Africa. The MasterCard Internet Gateway Service will target small and medium enterprises in Nigeria. MiGS can provide SME systems with Internet payment solutions that allow banks to enable customers to accept payments from cardholders of major card schemes. Customers can accept payments from anywhere in the world by logging into the website. Other features of the payment solution include invoice payments, batch payments, scheduled payments, a web shop and virtual terminal. The system can be self-managed by merchants.
