MasterCard MasterPass Adds Burger King, LivingSocial, Rakuten

MasterCard has added Burger King’s BK Delivers service, LivingSocial and Rakuten.com Shopping to its roster of merchants, the payments giant has announced.

MasterCard has now added more than 170 merchants to its MasterPass platform since the solution was rolled out at Mobile World Congress in February.

“We know consumers simply want to purchase the items or services they want, and don’t want to worry about the payments. That’s the promise of MasterPass and what we’re working with merchants and issuers to deliver each day,” the company wrote in a release.
