Alibaba Launches Wide Scale 24-Hour Delivery Service In China

Chinese eCommerce giant Alibaba has officially launched the China Smart Logistics Network (CSN), which will enable 24-hour delivery to any city in China, according to a TechCrunch report.

    CSN is backed by around 100 billion yuan ($16.3 billion) in funding and should be completed within 8-to-10 years, the report says. Former Alibaba CEO Jack Ma now serves as chairman of CSN and is among its initial investors. CSN is supposed to support about $4.9 billion in daily online sales once completed, according to Alibaba.
