Amazon Fights Facebook, Google With Login With Amazon

Amazon has launched its Login With Amazon single sign-in platform that allows users to sign in to third-party websites, games and apps with their Amazon credentials.

    Amazon says its seen “significant customer adoption” in trials with Zappos and Woot, and that the service makes customers both more likely to make purchases and to engage with content, as The Next Web notes. Integrating with Login With Amazon is free and the service is based on OAuth 2.0 authorization framework for developers.

    As many sources have noted, Login With Amazon seems to pose a direct challenge to Facebook Login and Google+.
