WePay Recruits eBay’s Fraud Director For Veda Support

    According to a press release from the Palo Alto-based company, John Canfield, who once served as the senior director of global fraud and risk management for eCommerce giant eBay, will be joining the company as its vice president of risk management.

    “Our goal in bringing John on as the VP of risk is to leverage his expertise in risk management to make Veda a faster and more intelligent anti-fraud device,” CEO Bill Clerico said in a statement.

    The release suggests that Canfield’s history of improving user experience through risk reduction at eBay will lend itself to the role.
