    Global financial services provider MasterCard and subsidiary Access Prepaid Worldwide have announced the launch of a new product designed to meet the needs of Canadian travelers, the Cash Passport Prepaid MasterCard Currency Card.

    “The Cash Passport will change the way you think about your money when traveling,” the company said in a statement. “It allows you to pre-load your travel money for safe and convenient use at millions of ATMs, shops and restaurants worldwide.”

    The Cash Passport offers travelers conveniences such as the latest chip and PIN technology, upfront foreign exchange information and access to balances on the phone and on the web. Cass Passport can be purchased at stores like Travelex and Marlin Travel, and from the Canadian Automobile Association.
