Square is reportedly set to begin selling its iPad-based POS system, Square Stand, at Apple retail stores, according to 9to5Mac.
Square unveiled its Stand solution in mid-May and will begin to sell the devices via Square.com today. Square Stand’s official sales launch in Apple stores is slated to begin tomorrow, July 9.

As 9to5Mac notes, Square and Apple teamed up to sell Square’s original Square Reader back in 2011. Selling Square Stand at Apple retail stores also makes sense as the platform only works with the iPad 2 and third-generation iPads with 30-pin dock connectors.
