Online and mobile payment platform provider Braintree announced a new partnership with Simple Bank on July 10 that will give Simple customers the ability to make one-touch payments through Venmo Touch, a service that simplifies mobile app checkout.
Braintree CEO Bill Ready said the new functionality is likely to appeal to consumers who have moved to using smartphones and tablets as their primary computing devices, and who expect mobile-optimized purchases from apps.

Simple customers will gain the ability to purchase using this functionality at merchants such as AirBnB, Fab.com, OpenTable, Rovio and Uber.
