MCX Teams Up With Kohl’s, FIS

Mobile payments cooperative Merchant Customer Exchange (MCX) has signed on a new member, major department store Kohl’s, as well as a new partner, financial services industry player FIS, All Things D reported.

    Kohl’s joins Best Buy, CVS, Gap, Shell, Target and Walmart on the list of prominent retailers that have signed on to create a new mobile wallet technology and mobile payment app. FIS will power MCX’s mobile payment network, a press release from MCX said.
