Ezetap Releases $50 mPOS Device

Ezetap, a mobile point of sale provider based in Bangalore, announced the roll out of its new mPOS technology, which is a card reader that can be inserted into any smart device or feature phone, reported The Economic Times. Retailers can complete transactions by asking shoppers to swipe their payment cards using the mobile device.

    According to the article, the device will be sold for $50, which is lower than the majority of others in the market. Ezetap recently expanded operations to Kenya, and revealed it will soon launch into the Southeast Asian market in the next three months.
