Metbank Teams With MasterCard For Zimbabwe’s First EMV Debit Cards

Metbank announced a partnership with MasterCard to launch the first EMV debit cards in Zimbabwe, reported Finextra. The partnership will allow Metbank to introduce Gold and Standard MasterCard debit cards to its customers. Additionally, the bank will roll out the MasterCard Business debit card for its corporate clients.

    The debit cards will have EMV functionality, which will help fight counterfeiting and fraud issues in Zimbabwe.
