China Could Become Largest Online Retail Market By 2014

New data from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has uncovered that the country’s online retail sales for the first half of 2013 have jumped 60.2 percent year-over-year, The Paypers reported.

    At its current pace, this means retail eCommerce spending in China could reach $280 billion by the end of the year. This projected figure is higher than the $261 billion in online retail commerce expected in the United States through 2013.
