    This section of the app store separates apps by age ranges, allowing kids and parents to search for the best selections for kids 5 and under, kids between 6 and 8 years old and kids between 9 and 11 years of age.

    The media outlet noted that the move comes at a time when Apple has begun to allow children under the age of 13 to enroll for iTunes user accounts. The app store update also comes with increased requirements for developers.
