Visa Goes Orange For NFC In France

Visa has announced a new partnership with mobile contactless specialist Orange to bring NFC payments to French consumers, Finextra reported on November 8.

    Visa has agreed to preload its technology onto all NFC SIM cards used by Orange’s 27 million customers. Wirecard will provide the technical platform needed to manage the application, and it will further act as the card issuer for the initiative.
