MasterCard Launches NYC Innovation Lab

The initiative is part of MasterCard’s broader expansion plans, which will lead to the creation of 400 jobs during the next five years. Of those, 122 will be located at the new e-commerce tech lab.

While the company’s investment in the innovation lab wasn’t disclosed, Finextra reported that MasterCard intends to spend several million dollars on the venture.
