Three major credit card issuers, Barclaycard US, Discover and First Bankcard, will be including free credit score checks on their cardholders’ monthly statements, The Associated Press reported on December 16.
The initiative will eventually enable 35 million cardholders to access information about their credit scores free of charge. While the three issuers are the first to participate, others are expected to take part in the coming months.
