A new survey has found that affluent American consumers favor shopping on Amazon more than other eCommerce platforms, MediaPost reported on January 1.
The Shullman Luxury and Affluence Monthly Pulse showed that 69 percent of affluent adult Americans who make more than $250,000 per year have shopped at Amazon in the past year.

Wealthy customers also constitute a large portion of the Amazon Prime membership pool. While 29 percent of Amazon’s total customer base is enrolled in Prime, 45 percent of Prime members make more than $500,000 per year.
