Among small-business owners surveyed recently, a majority reportedly would opt for a different bank if offered a better mobile-banking experience elsewhere.
Sixty-eight percent of small businesses owners that participated in ath Power Consulting’s “The ath Power Small Business Banking Study” said they would leave their current bank if an easier, more user-friendly mobile-banking service was available at another bank, Credit Union Times reported on Jan. 9.
“Mobile represents opportunities and challenges for banks to attract and retain small-business clientele,” Frank Aloi, CEO of ath Power, told Credit Union Times in an interview. “Banks with mobile offerings tailored specifically for small business will achieve success by delivering differentiated features and functionality not available in standard mobile banking services.”
