iMobile3 Lights Up An mPayments iBeacon

Using a data tokenization system, PassMarket allows participating sellers to process mobile payments without actually having to swipe or scan something, Apple Insider reported n Jan. 13.

The system leverages iBeacons positioned in the store to communicate with a customer’s mobile device and connect it with a store account. The customer’s tokenized data is used to processed the payment rather than a credit or debit card.
