Mixed Reactions To Ultimatum From PayPal’s Marcus

Reaction in Silicon Valley to PayPal President David Marcus’s recent memo rant over some of his employees not using PayPal, or remembering their passwords, has been mixed.

    So, too, apparently are Marcus’ after the contents of the memo were posted by VentureBeat. The responses ranged from good to bad, with some saying the issues Marcus identified are symptomatic of bigger problems.

    “The problem is with your products and culture when employee refuse to use your app,” one user tweeted.

    Marcus responded to the criticism – and VentureBeat – by tweeting, “Great job taking my internal email out of context by selecting a few excerpts only.”

    VentureBeat also posted the entirety of Marcus’ email.
