Telecommunications firm BT Group announced this week that it had extended its contract with electronic invoice company Tungsten. The two firms have worked together since 2003, but BT has now selected Tungsten to extend the benefits of e-Invoicing to all its suppliers across all entities, according to a company release.
Specifically, the move is expected to deliver electronic invoicing, purchase order services and invoice status service to its global operations.

“We are delighted that one of the world’s early adopters of e-Invoicing has chosen to work with Tungsten to bring streamlined invoice processing and prompt payment to its global supplier base,” Edmund Truell, Tungsten CEO, said in a statement.
“This significant contract continues to reinforce our ability to help both large corporations and SMEs trade with confidence,” he said.
Tungsten has been making several moves recently in terms of securing more e-Invoicing deals. Last month, PYMNTS.com reported on Tungsten being chosen by the global manufacturer of constructing and mining equipment Caterpillar, which will use the Tungsten program for its suppliers across the UK and Poland.
