PYMNTS reported recently that holiday online sales will be at an all-time high this year.

Many eRetailers (55 percent) are expecting to generate their lion’s share of sales via Amazon this season. The researchers surveyed 200 online U.S. and U.K. retailers that brought in more than $25 million in sales over the past year. These retailers responded by saying that Amazon is head and shoulders above eBay when it comes to leading online sales and their own eCommerce sites. About 20 percent said Amazon was the leader, while about 15 percent said their own websites would be their main sales channel.
