In addition, Affirm will become available to Canadian travelers on select properties within weeks, the companies said in a Friday (Jan. 30) press release.
These changes are part of an expanded, multi-year partnership between Affirm and Expedia Group, according to the release.
Jing Yang, vice president, global payments at Expedia Group, said in the release that Affirm’s BNPL offerings provide customers with clarity and confidence when selecting payment options.
“By extending our partnership with Affirm in the U.S. and soon Canada, we’re giving more people the flexibility to plan their memorable adventures and choose payment options that work best for them,” Yang said.
Expedia Group is among nearly 420,000 merchants globally who partner with Affirm to offer their customers flexible payment options, according to the release.

“In our decade of partnering with Expedia Group, we’ve seen that travelers are increasingly including considerations of ‘how to pay’ with ‘where to go’ as they plan and book trips,” Pat Suh, senior vice president of revenue at Affirm, said in the release. “As Expedia Group continues to innovate how people plan travel, we’re focused on making sure the payment experience is just as seamless.”
Affirm reported in November that during the first quarter of its fiscal 2026, it saw record volumes, profitable growth and an extended partnership with Amazon. CEO Max Levchin said during an earnings call that the growth was supported by durable demand for transparent credit and 0% installment options.
Over the last month, Affirm has partnered with checkout and payments company Bolt to become the default BNPL provider for Bolt’s network of merchants in the U.S.; with FinTech company Esusu to enable some people to pay their rent in two installments with 0% interest and no late fees; and with cloud-based payment orchestration platform Gr4vy to enable Gr4vy’s merchants to offer flexible payment options to eligible customers through online and mobile channels.
Meanwhile, Expedia Group said in November that artificial intelligence, automation and partner connectivity helped it capture growing global demand for travel. Expedia Group CEO Ariane Gorin said during an earnings call that the company’s technology systems operate as a “connected layer” linking travelers, supply partners and data insights across the booking journey.
