    Non-profit industry association NFC Forum has signed up Verizon and Discover as principal members, NFC World reports.

    The agreements with these major companies coincided with the addition of new associate members, non-profit members and implementer members, bringing the total number of organizations in the NFC Forum to nearly 200 members.
