With the popularity and convenience of online shopping, it’s no surprise more retailers are looking to invest in various technologies to help provide a better in-store experience.

In Zebra Technologies’ 2017 Retail Vision Study, it was found that a majority of retail decision makers are planning to invest in IoT.

Here are the numbers:

70 percent | Percentage of retail decision makers ready to invest in IoT

57 percent | Percentage of retailers that believe automation will shape the industry by 2021

65 percent | Percentage of retailers that plan to invest in innovative delivery options

80 percent | Percentage of retailers that will customize individual customers’ in-store experiences

75 percent | Percentage of companies planning to invest in predictive and software analytics by 2021
