The additions are part of a complete redesign of the platform, which aims to help medical billing firms address the growing complexity of revenue cycle management, the company said in a Thursday (Nov. 20) press release.
Because these firms serve multiple healthcare practices that use different electronic health record (EHR) systems, CharmBillerPro integrates with any EHR system, centralizes the billing workflow and allows billing professionals to manage claims from multiple practices, according to the release.
“By leveraging AI and the greater functionality of CharmBillerPro, organizations can handle larger volumes with greater accuracy while reducing their administrative burdens,” CharmHealth CEO Pramila Srinivasan said in the release.
CharmBillerPro automates the billing process by fetching patient demographics, insurance information, procedure codes and diagnosis codes from chart notes in the EHR, according to the release. It then generates claims with one click.
The platform’s new payment tools include Bluefin integration for secure, compliant credit card processing, embedded patient billing, and full visibility into payment status and reconciliation, per the release.

Medical billing company Avetalive, a user of CharmBillerPro, found that the platform delivers efficiency and results, according to the release.
“For our diverse portfolio of clients, it provides the centralized power and adaptability needed to handle any specialty or volume,” Avetalive President and CEO Chandresh Shah said in the release. “It allows us to manage dozens of practices with the precision of managing one, cementing our reputation as a reliable revenue partner.”

In other recent moves, CharmHealth launched an online community for physicians called CharmHealthSquare, introduced an appointment booking process product called CharmEasyCare, and enhanced its EHR platform with a Charm AI Scribe that transcribes patient-provider conversations in real time.
