To pay tribute to leaders and innovators in the card payment sector, the European Card Acquiring Forum will host the second annual Guiding Hand Awards during its annual conference, scheduled this year for Feb. 24-26 in Berlin.
“Acquirers need to offer a helping hand for merchants to understand the opportunities of the existing and coming payment systems”, says Leon Dhaene, Chairman of the Jury of the Guiding Hand Awards and Benelux Jury Member. “At the same time, acquirers are the visionary who, by understanding what the acceptance markets need and by evaluating what the merchants are willing to support, embrace or discharge innovations to market entry.”
