NACHA Announces PAYMENTS 2011 Industry Agenda Speakers

General session at NACHA’s annual conference to feature strategic dialogue on payments risk and innovation by distinguished international panelists

HERNDON, Va., January 31, 2011 NACHA today announced that an international panel of leading payments association executives will headline the PAYMENTS 2011 Industry Agenda general session in Austin. Titled “Balancing Risk and Innovation: Global Learning from Others,” the moderated discussion offers attendees of NACHA’s annual conference a unique opportunity to learn how  other geographies are ensuring that appropriate risk management is maintained while embracing new payment technologies and opportunities.

In an environment of rapidly evolving technology, dynamic opportunities and threats, and more aggressive regulatory oversight, striking the right balance between risk and innovation in the payments system takes on even greater importance. The PAYMENTS 2011 Industry Agenda’s moderated panel discussion, featuring leading payments association executives from Canada, Australia, South Africa, and the European Union, offers attendees a unique opportunity to learn from the experiences and strategies of other geographies.
