Google’s “Save to Wallet” Connects Web Offers to Physical POS

With its new “Save to Wallet” APIs, Google is giving merchants a new way to deliver offers to consumers, NFC World reports.

    “Save to Wallet” lets consumers download offers directly from merchant websites, and save them to their Google Wallet accounts. Those offers can then be redeemed at the physical point of sale by re-opening Google Wallet, the report explains.

    The program is first being launched through a limited beta test, NFC World says.
