NRF: Tablet Users Do More Holiday Shopping Than Smartphone Owners

Tablet owners plan to be more active shoppers than their smartphone-owning counterparts this holiday season, according to a report from the National Retail Federation.

The study notes that 64.1 percent of tablet owners say they plan to use their devices to research or make purchases, while just 52.9 percent of smartphone owners will do the same. Overall, the market is projected to make a 4.1 percent jump during the holidays, notes Mobile Commerce Daily.
