RBS/NatWest Bank Account Outage Persists Through Weekend

RBS and NatWest banking customers were frustrated by service outages starting last Tuesday, and those problems persisted into the weekend, according to the Telegraph.

The problem, which has affected millions of customers, is being blamed on a software glitch that originated on Tuesday, and has since created a backlog of issues that is requiring hours of labor to address. A timetable for resolution had not been given as of Sunday evening.

The main problems being caused by the glitch are a lack of updates to consumer bank accounts, and a lack of access to online banking tools.
