Acardo, a coupon technology company and clearinghouse in Europe, announced it has formed a partnership with CorFire, a mobile commerce firm, to begin NFC acquisition and allowing customers to collect vouchers on mobile wallets, reported NFC World. The companies hope the partnership will merchants the chance to connect with customers through social activity, mobile gifts and reformed loyalty programs.
“The partnership will enable Acardo to incorporate its digital vouchering solution ‘Open Wallet’ into the CorFire Wallet product platform. Using this enhanced technology, companies will now be able to develop and deliver offers that are customized based on past consumer behavior, time of day and physical location,” a CorFire representative told NFC World.
