In-stream commerce company Chirpify has raised $2 million in a Series A round, the company announced on Wednesday. Voyager Capital led the round, and Chiprify’s total backing now sits at $3.3 million to date.
Chirpify also announced that hip hop artists Snoop Dog and Lil Wayne would join the platform as enterprise customers, as well as athletic brand Puma, the company told PYMNTS.com.
“With this funding, Chirpify is poised to accelerate its disruption of the social commerce marketplace. We are excited to help Chirpify continue enabling brands to realize the full business potential of the more than a billion people that interact on the major social media outlets of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram,” said Diane Fraiman, Venture Partner at Voyager Capital. “Given the enormous wins for Chirpify over the past year, it is clear that consumers have spoken and they want the Chirpify way to buy.”
