comScore: Holiday eCommerce Sales To Rise 16%

comScore has predicted that U.S. holiday eCommerce sales will rise 16 percent this year, Reuters reported on November 26.

The company expects the total amount of eCommerce sales in the United States for the 2013 holiday season to reach $55.2 billion. This represents a modest increase from last year’s growth, which saw eCommerce sales climb 14 percent during the same season.

Reuters also reported that the National Retail Federation is anticipating 3.9 percent growth in overall retail sales.
