New York-based online daily deals giant Gilt has appointed Tracey Weber as its new chief operating officer (COO), Reuters reported on August 13. Weber will oversee all new strategic initiatives for the company.

    Weber was previously in charge of online and mobile banking services for Citibank. Weber joins Gilt’s new CEO, Michelle Peluso, who is also a former Citibank alumni.
